This morning, the internet received the solicitations for IDW’s comics coming out in January of 2019, including “Magic: The Gathering: Chandra #3”. And the cover art attracted attention for all the wrong reasons, not only because LOL Tibalt and his triple breasted jacket but also because of the yikesworthy cover art. Chandra at Tibalt’s feet feels like a pretty unrealistic scenario, but it is comic books! Thor was a frog once, and that is almost as bizarre. So since we’re in the land of make-believe where up is down, left is right, and Tibalt is all-powerful, what other storylines can you dream up for future Magic comics titles?

“Right now, looking at aetherhub.com's list of most used cards in MTGA, the top ten has one common and one uncommon, the rest are rare or mythic rare. The same statistic on hsreplay.net shows three common, three rare, two epic and two legendary cards. In other words, 80% of MTGA's best cards are expensive while in HS the distribution of cheap vs. expensive cards in the top #10 is almost exactly equal, leaning toward cheap.

It's kinda like if the government made a new law declaring that roof shingles can no longer be purchased in bulk but must instead be obtained in packages containing one roof shingle, a window pane, a tractor tire and a pair of jeans. These packages cost the same as the combined value of those items. Well, the price of a roof just skyrocketed. Especially if you didn't need new windows and don't own a tractor.”

Last week’s 24 hour Arena event was a big success, thanks in large part to Reddit user Fugiman and their Deckmaster plugin, which allowed for streamers of Magic Arena to utilize different hoverable zones that displayed the cards for viewers to read instead of waiting for the streamer to hover over the card. Now, having easy access to the hand, board state, graveyard, and exile zones is great and all, but I think the man known as Fugi has a gold mine here. So what other things would you like to be clearer in the future using the Deckmaster app?
