PC Gamer’s James Davenport wrote an article this week called "I Beat Sekiro's Final Boss With Cheats and I Feel Fine" in regards to using a mod to beat a video game. But that’s not the story here, folks; no, the story here is one particularly salty response on Twitter to the article that quickly became a viral sensation: “You cheated not only the game, but yourself. You didn't grow. You didn't improve. You took a shortcut and gained nothing. You experienced a hollow victory. Nothing was risked and nothing was gained. It's sad that you don't know the difference.” This amazing new block text immediately took off, spawning references on all subjects from speedrunning to easy mode to lifehacks and more.
